To obtain a valid business license please contact the Municipal office for licensing and payment arrangements.
Business License
The fees for a business license is as follows:
- Resident person and area resident person (Fernie to Pincher Creek): $75.00 per year.
- Non-resident person: $350.00 per year
- Daily Rate: $75.00 per day.
The Business license year is January to December and fees are pro-rated after October 1st, calculated at 50% of the regular yearly fee.
Business application fee for any type of in home occupation is $200.00
Regional Business License
The regional license is available at your municipal office. Businesses that reside in one of our partnering communities are offered an option to purchase a Regional Business License for $40.00 which allows them to conduct business in our member communities.
