Weeds are able tooutcompete native species(the opposite of a weed, itbelongs here) and have thepotential to harm the environment.Usually weeds arespread by humans but alsocan be transported by wind,water, wildlife and livestock.There are two important classificationsof weeds in Alberta,”Prohibited Noxious”and “Noxious”.
